Wide Penny Loafer Suggestions?

(I've already searched and read previous threads, but I didn't find what I was looking for)

I've been looking for a penny loafer, but it has to be the 'right' penny loafer. For example, I don't care for any of the current Allen Edmonds loafers, Alden, Darltons, etc. The rounder toes don't appeal to me. I want a longer looking shoe, high vamp, and so forth. 'Sleeker,' I suppose, is what I'm looking for. Some shoes I do like (without taking into consideration quality/value, just looks): Santoni 'Hines', To Boot NY Jason, Gordon Rush 'Taylor', Brooks Lightweight Leather Penny Loafer, PRADA Split Toe Penny Loafer, and EGW/Phat Guido's blue loafers.

The problem is, I need wide shoes. I bought this Asher loafer from Banana Republic, thinking in the store that it would be fine once I broke it in, but after wearing it a while at home, that won't work. I wear 9.5 3e in my A-E's. I like the Ferragamo 'Tibet' Loafer , and it comes in at least 2e, but I've got my mind set on something in the tan/cognac/chestnut family.

So, can anyone help me? My budget tops out at around $400; I want to keep it under $200, but I'd still like to hear suggestions over my range. Bonus points for shoes I could try on in a store (I'm in Orange County, CA), or websites with good return policies.
