Yeah, someone asked me this last year, so I enlightened myself. So kind of old trivia to me, but always intriguing.

To show off branding at top centre.

Quick watch question before I make a new topic. I have a vintage watch. The outside of the dome is fogging up (or is of really the inside and a coincidence I wiped some off with my finger. The fog only came after washing my hands.) There are also scratches on the dome. Is this fog common? What chemicals and srub pads can I use on an old watch? Can I get it buffered somewhere? What's with the fog? This is a waterproof watch.

It sounds like it is no longer waterproof. I would avoid getting it near water so you don't ruin it and take it to a jeweler to see if it can be repaired.

Interesting...So the Masons have nothing to do with that?
