There are ok things about StyleForum, there are good things about StyleForum and there are awesome things about StyleForum. This thread is about the latter - really, what amazing threads some of our members create and participate in.
Mod to Suedehead
This thread started years and years ago (by dear departed poster GetSmart) as a place to talk about mod clothing - vintage-style pieces based on British street fashion of the '60s and '70s. From such humble beginnings it became what it is today: an amazing catalogue, a recollection (a retrospective exploration) of a departed era filled with participants of that era - of those who lived in those times, wore those clothes and actually are in those awesome photos everyone loves.
Bespoke Shoe Appreciation
It's tough to find pictures of bespoke footwear from actual clients on the internet - well, tough, outside of this awesome thread. StyleForum is at its best when it serves as a mechanism to educate our readers - and this thread does that. Are you curious about what bespoke shoes actually look like? What the products of different makers and different bespoke houses are, and how they compare? Looking for objective, real world feedback from consumers? This buds for you!

It's hard to imagine a thread about sunglasses can be fascinating, but this one is - simply because the thread started has a wealth of knowledge (and an unbelievable collection of vintage frames).
