I too have noticed that 30+ yr old women like me (especially 40+). Don't know why. They tend to be smart, successful, aggressive - and they let you know what they want.

I am a bit younger (23) than many of the respondents here but I am also finding that the older I get, the more I notice a big sexual vibe from the older ladies.

I wonder if they are realizing that their days of adventure are drawing to a close (so they want to get a last few rolls in) or if the cougar is just a breed that gets hornier as it matures.

Just to provide a counterbalance -- I recently talked with a friend of mine who's a pretty good looking girl who was planning on finding a summer fling through her kickball league. So yeah, girls do go to these things to meet guys too. And the numbers are in their favor. I don't know if every girl goes to these things to find a dude, but some definitely do.

Generally, I think less intense the "sport", more likely they are to be open. Think things like bocce and darts.

I played basketball last night...first night of my co-ed league...I love playing fratty young prof. guys...I DOMINATED (and its not often I can say that in basketball) outscored the other team by myself.... and the girls on my team were better than the guys!

Anyway, its insane that I or any other half decent guy can't meet someone in the summer.......on the walk home from Houston and Bowery to 6th and 31st (yeah I like walking) I saw SOOOO many good looking girls and they were, for the most part, in groups with no guys! And all the guys in the standard untucked BD shirt and jeans walk around in their own groups. Its like being back in middle school!

You definitely should have gone to her party. And then met every OTHER women there that you could. "Oh hi, so how do you know... (whatever her name is)".

Take her out and attempt to meet OTHER women while you are out.

It never fails for me... whenever I have a very hot girl standing next to me, I have a zillion opportunities with other women. They'll walk up to me, start talking to me when she isn't right next to me, etc..

BUT if I'm by myself, it's much more difficult.

So you'll either meet other women this way AND/OR she'll get jealous and be more attracted to you.

That's how it works...

You know, I did go to her party and did speak to a lot of other people...and my friend made an observation that it pissed her off! There is an event in Brooklyn on Sunday that I think she would like BUT I am doing my best to hold out.

Strangely enough...a girl I had a chance with nearly a yr ago who I have not spoken to in at least 6 months texted me out of the blue yesterday...wants to "hang out". She is a cute, wacky, heavy drinker Ph.D student. Normal.

Yes! Go for that! By the time you've forgotten about the first girl, she will want to know where you've been and why you haven't been giving her any intention. Then you'll have two good options. This has always been my experience.

Exactly. And while I'm aware that the term "Pivot" comes from either "The Game" or the related groups/information... the information I'm providing is directly out of my life... and the many interactions I've had with women.

And a women who is "pissed off" is jealous... and that will make her more attracted to you. No doubt about it. She was pissed off because in her mind she "owned" you. Then you didn't behave like she wanted. And all you were doing was having a good time.. and she gets "pissed off"? hahahaha
