Why is there so much Belvest and D'Avanza stuff on eBay?

I am looking to find a new go-to suit maker. I've been wearing Samuelsohn but would like to branch out as it seems there must be other makers whose fits I can depend on, that come available on sale more often. Looking through eBay, I see a lot of Belvest and D'Avanza. My question isn't about their quality, as I understand they're pretty decent if you can get them at a good price. My question is, instead - why are there so many of their suits on eBay? More than any other makers as I see it, and often NWT. I would love to understand why this is.

It could be that d'Avenza has been bought by Brunello Cucinelli and their quality and style may change significantly.

The stuff on ebay is the original, high-quality product which has possibly been available in big lots.

A friend of mine has bought a lot of d'Avenza suits at around $600 each (original price about $6000)...from the ebay seller NYMilan or MilanNY, can't remember...but they are beautifully made and may be the last well constructed d'Avenzas you will find.

I have things by all three and I like Samuelsohn very much - particularly their MTM. Perhaps you're simply looking to experiment with different styles but in terms of quality, Canada is no worse than Italy.

I have the feeling both brands are poorly marketed compared to their peers, hence the mass offloading onto eBay and other secondary markets. Which is unfortunate because from personal experience, Belvest makes a very nice product. I believe Belvest also makes for other more expensive labels. They probably have fairly large factories pumping out clothing.
