Why will there always be celebrity and the ultra-rich? Most of these are consumers of RTW.

I'd suspect it would be quite difficult to make a living doing custom tailoring, unless you had a consistant customer base. Almost doesn't even seem with getting into without that base.

Point of death? Perhaps never.. Of course, in Hollywood, and NYC, there are bound to be markets for bespoke tailoring , I just don't see it as a widespread thing, or an expanding market, especially when we are living in the era of mass production. I know of a few places, and they are basically well run family businesses, with the craft passed down from the previous generations.
