This is your conciense trying to save you from a bad deal, and you are wise to listen to it. yes the deal look good but there is a reason those boots are so cheap and that shoudl be clue enough for you to run away and don't look back.

Those boots are awesome but I've had gussets like that f*ck up my hems something severe, so I'd never buy them.

Look up the balmoral boot Appreciation thread... there are some great dress boots w/ speed-lacers. They are not the issue... it's the shape and detail on the boots... "forking Timberlands" sum's it up.

Here's why I hate it: I hate that seam parallel the sole that runs across the ankle. It's like a blucher with a bastardized balmoral seam (balmoral in the english sense, not american). Totally wrong. Plus the toe is bulbous.
