Im currently looking to get my furnace replaced, and have had a couple different companies come in to give me an estimate. today, i had a gentleman come in from a huge furnace dealer to give me an estimate. I let him in, shook his hand and noticed he had an INCH LONG COKE NAIL. WTF? Why is this considered acceptable? Why is this gentleman being sent to do estimates, meeting potential customers face to face, face to coke nail! As soon as i saw that nail, i knew i wasnt going with these guys. Luckily enough, the guy took no measurements, made up a price out of thin air, and was gone 5 minutes later. Im a bartender and see this quite frequently now, considering i work in the GTA's equivalent of the jersey shore, but its not just italian guys, i see alot of white, middle eastern, black, purples, what have you's with coke nails, and sickening enough, i see alot of familys come in, young kids, coked out parents high as a kite, long coke nails. I even saw a woman with 2 french tipped coke pinky nails. jesus christ This **** makes me sick.

In some cultures a parent leaves one of his children's nails long because the parent has lost a lot of babies. Could have been that.

I know a couple people who grow out one nail as a tool in their work. In their case(s) at least, it has nothing to do with drugs.

It's also quite common for people my age to have long thumb nails, for splitting cigars to make blunts.

"Huh, goodness gracious the papers
Where the cash at? where the stash at?
*****, pass that before you get your grave dug
From the main thug, .357 slug
And my ***** biggie got an itchy one grip

One in the chamber, 32 in the clip
Motherfuckers better strip, yeah ***** peel
Before you find out how blue steel feel"
