K so last night before heading home i decide to stop by a thrift store which is on the way and it's like 30 mins till closing time. I go in browse for a frame to put up a picture I have, find nothing there. I go up to the outwear section and bam I see this awesome trench coat. Taupe, excellent condition, fits like a glove and made by Burberry! I go try it on, ready to get it when I find out the tag is ripped in half, where the bar code is there but the price isn't. So I rip off the rest of the tag and go up to the cashier.
The problem is I don't have my wallet on me just some loose cash. I go up to her and ask her how much I can get it for. The hippie saleswomen calls over her supervisor for a price check. She comes up, her appearance is something like really fat, has terrible hygiene, really bad teeth, and wearing a hairnet...I then knew what I was in for. Apparently they put in some "hidden" tags so she was able to tell me right away it was 12.25. Knowing I only had 11$ on me I asked her if it would be alright if she took off 1.25.
Here she gave me this cold look like I was a cokehead begging for cigarettes, and with this smug look on her face just stared at me. I then got out my money and told her "look if I had another 1.25 I'd gladly pay for it but this is all the money I have on me." Mind you she had no idea that It's Burberry or anything ever valuable. She made a facial expression like I was begging her for change and then with in this smug, charitable voice told me "look the best I can do is make it 10.25 and you better damn hope you have enough pennies after tax;" and took off.
What the hell was that attitude??? She works in a place which doesn't even require a resume to apply this is just unbelievable. After she left a guy behind me smiled, I looked at him and he asked "Burberry?" and I said "tyea" so we both started to laugh.
