how big have the discounts been on gilt for the RLBL suits?
And so nature's wondrous cycle begins anew.

Might the size up have something to do with padding... RLBL is quite padded, don't know about HF here.
Just a word of caution, most MTM at same price level (i.e. under 2K) can't compare to RLBL in terms of construction and quality..., at least in NYC anyway. I have never worked with Mr. Ned before, but don't think they are build to the same standard as Caruso.
Thanks, but I think I should be fine as I'm look for something that is nothing like the RLBL silhouette. I'm looking for a full floating canvas, slim (Blue Label slim/moderately slim), lightly padded/natural shoulder (again like Blue Label), double vent, 2 button cuff, notch lapel sport coat. I've realized after owning both Blue Label and Black Label suits that my preference is for clothes that.
I think another reason is that they are so used to loosely/ill fitting suits (after all RLBL is the first 'nice' suit for so many SF members right?), that the sudden (apparent) snugness of a RLBL is an 'OMG I DON'T WANT TO LOOK ****' moment for them.
Oh my... now Isaia is "loose" ? I'm speechless - is this the Ethiopian spin-off of Styleforum?
Actually, that's the one thing about Isaia I never get, keep want to buy one, but never pull the trigger because while RLBL fits me off the rack nicely, Isaia is always too roomy in both chest and waist, am I look at the wrong line of Isaia or something...
I can't believe I missed this thread. The short answer: everyone secretly wants to get Foofed.
That's why I called it a classic 2B stance. That's lower than some of the more modern 2B stance jackets that are cut like a 3B but only have two buttons. Again, I don't mind that lower stance sometimes - a little bit of change.
When I was buying Isaia stuff a couple years ago, the Euro size conversion was a little uncertain. Some stores called a 52 EU a 40 and others called it a 42. I think in reality it's somewhere in between. That could have changed as I've been out of the loop.
