Why do some brands (RRL, Drake's, etc) charge more for a bandana than for a t-shirt? Just on material alone, the t-shirt should be 3-4 times the price of a bandana. Is there some manufacturing secret in bandanas that contributes to their high price?

Why are bandanas so expensive?

Not in the trade myself so really just speculation but:
1. economy of scale (presumably >10x more T-shirts made/sold than bandanas, and probably more factories that can make T-shirts than can make bandanas)
2. what makes you think that the retail price should be a fixed multiple of the cost to produce? supply/demand, presence/absence of competitors, etc etc.
3. don't like the price, buy somewhere else?
