Who's making good jean belts these days?

Info's kind of scattered around, and everybody and their mother seems to be making custom belts nowadays, so I thought I'd get your opinions on where I should get some new belts. Unlucky is awful with his emails and LeatherGoodsConnection sucks. Any other suggestions or options? Anybody in house making good ****? I know we have a few custom belt makers on the forum.

I'm shopping around for one as well, and keep finding myself leaning towards one of Saddlebackleatherco's latest creations-

Surprisingly, I've yet to see anyone comment on them on SF. I haven't ordered one yet, but so far I've heard nothing but praise for them. The "three strips attached together" sounds kinda odd, but after reading more about the process, and comparing other options (Tanner, Zissou, KMW to name a few), it doesn't seem as asinine as I originally assumed. The simplicity of the belt is nice, as well, although nine holes does seem kinda silly. All in all, I'd buy one outright if they were offered in an untanned state.

Epaulet has some nice one and two prongs just in.
Sugar Cane makes really thick ones that will last forever.

Unlucky (as in don't mourn organize, as in Scott)? He is great with my emails always responds well within 24 hours. He also differentiates himself from the competition with using horse hide for belts and has custom buckles.

*disclaimer: I havent bought a belt from Scott but am in process of buying a wallet.

For washed leather, Jeanshop. They seriously have the best dyed leather belts for the price ($155). Just be aware that a size XS fits a size 32 man.

There are tons of other belts that are Jeans friendly. I like anything from Marni to Dries van Noten. My go to is still my KMW belt though.

Not for the point of throwing **** at this vendors back but just to let OP know. I got a belt from Corter and the buckle was rusted and he was not responsive after the belt was shipped.

This summer I've pretty much only been wearing my braided leather belt from J Crew and my hoof pick belt from Leatherman Ltd. via Hickorees. Both are great belts and can't be beat for around $60.

Had two separate ****** experiences with them. I have two of their belts that don't fit me, despite endless emails with the measurements, up for sale now. They're beautiful but not what I wanted, nor do they fit. I just ******* gave up on them.

Unlucky (Scott) is a great guy, and makes great ****, but he's too unreliable with his communication. I missed out on the forum special belt, and another belt I had interest in, because I just couldn't get to him reliably. I have a custom belt in #8 shell cordovan colored horsehide up for sale as well. Trying to branch out this time.

Yeah, eric takes a while to respond. I think he's usually super busy since he does every order himself.
