Early Superfuture also bloomed my love of denim and I will continue to visit once it's back up...I agree many of the newbies dilluted Superfuture with an influx of Niketalkesque posts. Style Forum is just a little more mature and refined, but Superfuture seems to have a more diverse crowd that still makes it interesting. Both sites are great places.

Yeah, it's really interesting to hear how much better you guys are than the people who post at supertalk. Funny how very few of you ever posted anything of value over there. Forums are not made for YOU. If you havent done anything worthwile, shut up.

Did you ever go out of your way to explain a simple question to someone who was new to denim? Did you ever think that since ringring put great effort into helping others, maybe you could do the same for someone else? No, you were the ones expecting interesting posts and adding nothing. But still, youre much better than them.

    collective narcissism.

hilarious to see a bunch of people (including a moderator) propping up the maturity of their forum one sentence then going on to (very maturely!) talk shit about another forum in the next. A forum, just so you guys don't get it twisted, which has been and always will be (no matter how much you complain about niketalkers and "IM-Speak") more relevant and important than styleforum.

good thing you guys all got turned on to "RAW DENIMZZZ" and became true "denimheads" (hahahah) before superfuture really went downhill, huh?

next time you guys contradict yourselves so blatantly, try to go at least a whole paragraph.

    chea!

I attribute its downslide to the influx of new members who are either trolls, or don't spend time get a feel of the site before posting irrelevant posts. And supertrash is just, at most times, retarded.

I avoid supertrash, if I want a discussion, I'll go to forums which specialise in certain subjects.

Then again, if I didn't find superfuture, then I would still be getting the same crud as I did before. It presented new realms of fashion I didn't know or bother about before. Then I came across this site about 3 and a half months ago and I've been regularly lurking ever since.

Interestingly enough, both Brian and I (the moderators here) are longstanding members of Superfuture, (I actually have 2 identities there, one under my handle here, another, older one which I shall not reveal.) I think that we've both contributed useful posts there, and Brian's handle over there is spoken in the same hushed tones as ringring and serge's. Don't get your panties in a knot.

BTW, check the traffic on the two boards. They are quite similar. And there is quite a bit of crossover between the posters as well.
