Wholecuts: Do they make your feet look too long?

I'm curious, while I do think a wholecut looks great in pictures and on a shelf, don't they tend to elongate the foot?

I'm sure this has been discussed before but curious of the board's thoughts.

I think the problem is that a perfect wholecut does not fit perfectly with anything. Take a suit, sports jacket/odd trousers, or even jeans and there are always other choices that match more perfectly than a wholecut.

i think every1 should have one pair of whole cuts, 1 in brown and 1 in black, do they make you feet look big, i guess no more than any other plain toe shoe, try wider bottomed pants also might be a help

what really makes your feet look too long is narrow trousers. wide trousers make your feet look smaller.

I need some more wholecuts for the very fact I have small feet.

I have a pair of cap-toes which make my feet like tiny! I don't like it.
