1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I'm putting this on neutral ground so hopefully both CM and SW&D can get involved.

    Nominations are open.

We may have to have seperate brackets for visual and prose (or whatever Synthese writes in)

I'm going to go ahead and nominate Vox.

Writing from the corner of the rec room near the ping pong table at the retirement home in Lynn, he managed to break all the most important stories.

uhhh, are you listening to this @LA Guy?

My own nomination goes to The Wall. Think about how many asses were on it, and how much joy it provided to everyone. What a champ. What a trooper. The Wall to end all Walls. If only we could all be so strong.

My vote is either Unbel doing Blue Steel/Le Tigre/Magum or gdl in his best Masaccio impression.
