I'm looking for a pair of slim fit cords that fit more like jeans than trousers. Any ideas?

That's all I"ve been seeing recently. I like pants that fit like armani not jeans but you're in luck. There are nice ones by apc, some nice gray ones by raf raf simons (super soft), trovata and others. The only regular cut ones I've found are burgundy paul smiths but no thanks for 300.

J Crew has some decent ones with tons of color options. I have a pair and I love them.

I have a pair of those also that I got from ScoopNYC. I haven't been able to find any on sale since. Have you seen them on sale lately?

Helmut Lang made jean-styled cords, there are a few on yoox and ebay right now. Good stuff.

You could also look at APC, they used to be made in france (dunno about now) and of very good quality, the cut is great too.

the only pair of cords I own are from Club Monaco, deep burgundy color, slimfit, on sale for $19. I saw the APC cords at HTC that were nearly exact to the Club Monaco's (color and fit) but at APC pricepoint. I'm sure the quality is much better but for pants I wear less than 10x/year it's not a huge issue for me.

John Varvatos also has great cords. Well made and slim fitting. Sometimes can be found on sale at ScoopNYC.com, Ebay, or your local NM/Off 5th outlet.

I love Varvatos' cords, but doesn't anyone find they are cut more like dress pants than jeans?

Paul Smith also makes some cords for $195. Tried some on at Barneys Co Op and they are great.
