That is correct (referencing Grenson Masterpieces).

When I was in their store last week, the salesman said the Made in England Stuart's Choice shoes (the ones listing for $625) are, as has been mentioned, Grensons. They also had a couple shell cordovans ($825) left in their Madison store at that time. He also mentioned they were having a problem getting inventory on the cordovans.

Arg

Edit: And I'm very happy with my Stuart's Choice shoes.

I have two pair, one casual and one whole cut. I cant speak to thier quality v. Lobb, weston et. al. But compared to the AEs, Alden they are in a stratosphere above in every way. Fit, feel, looks, smell.....and the dark soles......i thought most of them were closer to 700 now?

Very shoes overall. I love my wholecuts (bought from Bennies). While I can't speak to their long-term durability the initial sole wear seems to be more than I'm accustomed to from the likes of Weston, Reiter, or Ferragamo Tramezza.

Design Professor:
The Chicago store had these, or something very similar, on sale for $378. There was only one pair left in size 9. I thought about buying, but they were slightly snug. Maybe the NY store has more.
