I love the styling but trying to determine how well they are built. Does anyone know who in Italy constructs them? If they are all about the name, I will just go ahead and buy JM Weston or the like and know I am getting quality.

The quality isn't that great, but you're paying for the design. An SLP boot won't give you the same look as a Weston. Doesn't mean it's better or worse, but it depends on the look you're trying to create.
