I've been trying to figure this out and can't seem to get a straight answer. Now, granted Zegna has renamed the "˜Napoli Couture, Couture, etc...' line several times over and its hard to keep track of what is what, but barring that there has to be an answer.

I have read that they are (were?) made by Lorenzini, which would in a way make sense, but the fabrics are almost surely Zegna in origin. Thus possibly Zegna supplied shirting fabric and Lorenzini made the shirts. Although, would it make a lot of sense for Zegna to outsource shirt production when they have several shirting factories which are (seemingly) up to the task of making the Couture shirts?

They used to be made by Lorenzini (as of say, 3 years ago), but I don't know anymore. Naturlaut would probably have this information.

I only know the recent ones, as I am only acquainted with NC these past few years.

If your label says Napoli Couture (and they are recent), then they were made in-house.

If you label says Couture (means they were purchased since 2004), then they were made in a large factory in Switzerland close to the border. This factory is Zegna-owned. I don't know if it produces shirts for other labels though.
