that don't carry their Peal branding? I can only assume that they're not English made or they'd advertise that fact. My local store doesn't carry these shoes, so I haven't inspected them for markings.

Agreed. They also need to take everything they do right with their catalogs/flyers and apply it to their online images. Clothes that look great in the catalog pics look merely okay online. Then, when you look at the images of the pasty, high waisted freakish models they use online, you wonder why you're even considering the item. They need to give the photographer/agency/department (whatever) that runs the catalogs control over the whole picture.

Brooks has a penny loafer from some 2nd or 3rd world country (Brazil, Dominican Republic, or maybe Asia) that is calfskin.

At the clearance center I saw a pair of chestnut wingtips that were made in Italy. At the price of those, if they aren't made in the US or England, I would hope they were made in Italy.

Most of the Peal line comes from Sargent, though I think one captoe still come from C&J. No Edward Greens left in thier line that I know of

The Made in USA shoes come from Alden.

I just got a pair of the Peal Albert-style slippers and I'm curious who made them. Do all the Northampton makers offer these or do they source them from one place and put thier different names on them?
