Particularly the cashmere sweater but I am curious about some of their other goods as well.. I'd assume it's similar to Hermes with this company making this, that company making that.. etc.

Actually, in the last several years Hermes has been making sizable investments in most of its suppliers. They're very active in the wholesale side of the business; they even supply some of their competitors with certain goods.

<nods> I'm aware of their relationship with say, Seraphin - I meant from a standpoint that Asprey as a company, does not manufacture all of their goods. They have some made for them by others. I've heard EG either makes shoes through them or sells them through them - I've never been to an Asprey B&M store. The reason my interest is piqued - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWN%3AIT&rd=1

You're right, most purveyors use many different vendors. My point is only that Hermes should be left out of any such discussions. The thing about Hermes is that they are actually a maker and while they are wildly overpriced, their quality is unsurpassed.

Loro PIana, Seraphin and Incotex are key suppliers.

Seraphin makes Asprey leather? Are you sure?

The Devil wears Seraphin, I'll have you know.

IIRC I saw a few shearling pieces at the old shop that seemed clearly to be Seraphin. Though the majority of Leather/Suede outerwear was made by Loro Piana

Outerwear, and I would guess that the knitwear, were made by Loro Piana. The tailored goods are still a mystery, though my intuition hints at Belvest as a possible manufacturer. Quality is all-around solid, but I was amazed how generously Asprey cut their RTW.
