Who makes a good homburg hat?

Does Borsalino make one?

I have one from Lock, but I am tempted to get another one.

Thanks.

I'm sure Christy's , Bates, Herbert Johnson or Patey could do you one.

Some others to try if you happen to go to Freedom (France) --
Motsch, Gelot (@ Lanvin) or Anthony Peto.

RJMan has it covered reasonably well.

Be careful that you don't get one of the atrocities with a Borsalino billboard on the side. They have some perfectly acceptable models without and too many with. It's the new feather or something.

Is Christy's still in business?

Where can you buy Herbert Johnson in the USA? I recall that at one time Barneys on 17th Street used to carry it?

Are Bates and Patey available through the internet?

Thanks.

Bates is. I don't know if Christy is, or if they simply continue in name only. The Christy hats are manufactured in England and in Sri Lanka. There was a discussion, albeit brief, of Christy bowlers on Ask Andy.
