i was watching some old bond movies the other night with sean connery, that man looked great in a suit, in the special features they talked about how his shirts for the movie were from T&A does anyone know who did the suits for those movies?

Matt S is the authority on this. Brioni made most of brosnan's IIRC and IMO he looked a lot better than Daniel Craig in Tom Ford.

This thread is about Sean Connery era bond suits. You sparked my interest so I did some searching and it appears that Anthony Sinclair of 43 Conduit Street who was Terence Young's (the director of Dr. No) tailor did Connery's suits up until You Only Live Twice.

+1 I thought Craig looked better in Brioni in Casino Royale than he did in Tom Ford in Quantum of Solace.

Yes, Terence Young took Connery shopping for high-end clothes himself when the latter was first cast as Bond to give Connery an eye for the finer things in life that he had yet to experience up to that point and which Young thought essential for an actor playing James Bond.
