Just got some 87 Unleaded for $2.009.
Much better.
Filled up the thirsty Yukon for less than $50.
Maybe lower prices on the way.

I'd rather get my alternative energy on. Last time I filled up I was almost paying $3. Under $40 to fill up my Altima!

Better yet, I'd like a metro system in every big city.

I'd like a personal flying machine to take me to the grocery.
My Yukon is more practical and cheaper to operate.
Your Altima is probably cheaper per mile, but less capable.
The "metro system" is the least useful and most expensive laternative.
No Thanks. Not with my tax money.

I dunno, having to wait 15 minutes for a train was a lot nicer in Europe than having to drive around my block for 20 minutes to find a parking spot when I get home and when I leave take 30 minutes waiting through stop lights just to get to the other side of town. Then, when I get to my destination, having to wait another 15 minutes for a parking spot. Very stressful.

I'd also like bullet trains between big cities.

Gasoline prices don't affect me. My Yukon/SUV/AssholeUrbanAssaultVehicle burns kittens and bunnies for fuel. The fluffier and softer they are, the more milage I get.

I'm somewhat disappointed that Charley doesn't drive a Hummer, but I guess this is pretty close.

I don't use kittens.
I just take the gasoline from the tanks of the "specks" that destroyed in traffic accidents.

Charley,

I have taken the liberty of contacting ABC on your behalf. In the letter, I stated that my dear friend Charley is the perfect candidate for a reality show in which he is provided with a new room mate; a 22-year-old granola girl from Bard college. Watch as this 'odd couple' scuffles their way through daily activities together. Sit-ins, gun shows, and gay-rights parades will never be the same! Watch tomorrow at 9:00/8c!

Gas is still averaging about $2.80 a gallon here.

Jon.

(I'm not complaining I knew what I got into when I bought the car, and I also know that I drive insanely fast and get ****** gas mileage because of it)

$5.6. Beat that. No widespread rioting or collapse of society evident, which should make some peak oil alarmists feel better
