Wouldn't it be nice to have a thread about which producers are doing what for which brands? For example who makes RLBL suits etc. Lets talk about the recent seasons... I will add all contributions to the OP.

I'll start adding what I know:

Zilli <- Pal Zileri Sartoriale
Lanvin <- Caruso
Balenciaga (some of them) <- Caruso
Gianfranco Ferre (mainline) <- Caruso
Tom Ford <- Zegna
YSL Rive Gauche <- Zegna
Ferragamo <- Cantarelli
Faconnable <- Cantarelli and Boglioli
Gucci <- Zegna
Ralph Lauren Polo <- Corneliani
Ralph Lauren Black Label <- Caruso
Ralph Lauren Purple Label <- Caruso and St Andrews
Valentino Tailoring <- Isaia
Michael Bastian <- Cucinelli
Bamford and Sons <- Caruso
Adriano and Sons <- Isaia and Sartoria(Kiton)

I thought there was a thread that already does this. However, if I am mistaken, then this is a great idea.

English is my third language and I'm aware that my written English is not flawless. Thanks for correcting it in a kind way.

We had this thread back before the great server crash of '06; I still have a copy of some of the stuff posted at that time and will copy below. As such, some of these may be (probably are) out of date or incorrect. As well, keep in mind that designers and such switch licensees and makers ALL the time, so these probably should be updated every season. Thus, it's entirely possible we'll have LOTS of contradictory information, but still correct (depending on season). Also, designers use DIFFERENT licensees for different things (suits, shoes, RTW, accessories having 4 different licensees, for example)

CLOTHING:
GIBO: Hussein Chalayan,Marc Jacobs Collection, John Galliano Homme, Viktor&Rolf, pre-Prada Helmut Lang and pre-Gucci Group Alexander McQueen
Note; I believe both MJ and V&R are at different places as of 2010

GILD: Giuliano Fujiwara, Andrew Mackenzie, DSquared (earliest seasons from mid 1990's before Staff)
STAFF: Martin Margiela, DSquared, Vivienne Westwood (mens), some Costume National Homme (?)
Vestimenta: (older) Armani Black Label, Ungaro (women's line), Piombo, Trussardi, 2004-05 Calvin Klein Collection
AEFFE: Jean-Paul Gaultier, Pollini, Alberta Ferretti (incl. Philosophy), Sinha-Stanic, Basso&Brooks, Narciso Rodriguez, Moschino
Mariella Burani Fashion Group: Vivienne Westwood Anglomania, Patrizia Pepe, Bikkembergs
CIT: Armani Collezioni (shirts), Bagutta, Basile, Eley Kishimoto, Baindouche
ITTIERRE: D&G (recently switched to another maker), Exte, Versace Jeans Couture, Versus, GF Ferre, Just Cavalli, CNC, Ferre, Anna Sui
TOMBOLINI: Allessandro Dell'acqua, Gianfranco Ferre, Thierry Mugler
GYSEMANS: Veronique Branquinho, Raf Simons, Bernhard Wilhelm
Pier SpA - Dries van Noten, Dior Homme, Chloe, Azzedine Alaia, Plein Sud
Gruppo GFT (largely defunc't now): Mani (Armani), pre-2004 CK Collection, Valentino Uomo (pre 2003), Claude Montana, Ungaro (older)

SHOES:
Buttero: Dior Homme, Martin Margiela, Number (N)ine
Zengarini: Calvin Klein Collection, Byblos, Alessandro Dell'acqua
Stefano Bi: LVMH brands (Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, Loewe, Berluti RTW)
Artioli: some Etro
Vicini: Gianfranco Ferre, DSquared (though recently both are at other makers, IIRC)
Lattanzi:Some special edition Jil Sander's (all have handwritten labels)

MEN'S SUITS:
Isaia: Valentino (some of the top-end men's items)
Belvest: Hermes, some Prada (others are Cantarelli), Louis Vuitton
Zegna: Gianna Versace Couture, Gucci, Armani Collezioni, Dunhill, Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche, Tom Ford
Boglioli: Seize sur Vingt
Corneliani: Polo Ralph Lauren
Canali: Lanvin, Faconnable, Gieves & Hawkes</p>
Lardini: Dolce & Gabbana, Ferragamo, Brooks Brothers Italian-made stuff
Ma.Co: Rafaelle Caruso Sartoria Parma, Dior Homme (I heard this back in the day, but have not had it confirmed)

Attolini makes suits for Sartoria Partenopea? I thought they did it themselves?

I have seen some Adriano and Sons made by Attolini (!!)

Barbera Sartoriale has of late had some Sartoria Partenopea but also had some stuff done by St. Andrews and Attolini in the past.

Isaia made Valentino typically retails under the label &quot;Valentino Tailoring&quot;

^Nobody makes them anymore, as Valentino Roma no longer actually exists.

Who made them before... I'm not sure. Valentino Roma was the 2nd or "diffusion" line for Valentino, sort of like Armani Collezioni.

Didn't Valentino used to own a large part of Boss?
