I want to buy a pairs of Nudie Slim Jim. Actually, I want to try them by myself, but I cannot find any shop selling Nudie in Chicago. And, if there is a shop selling Nudie, I think they don't have my size for sure.

I don't exactly know my waist size. Anyway, I have 3 pairs of Levi's 514 whose sizes all are 28x30.
I want to ordered Nudie Slim Jim (Brokent Twill) from Nudie Website.

Do you guys think size 26x30 of Slim Jim is too tight for me or I should buy 27X30?

Another question, do you guys know where I can buy Nudie online? The official Nudie Website have my size, but the price seems expensive. I've found a few online stores that ship to USA and cheaper, but they don't have my size.

Thank you,

If that doesn't work out: I wear 30x32 in 514, and I wear 29x32 in Even Steven. I know that's not exactly what you were looking for, but I hope it helps.

What the hell is with people and wanting to size down loads? You size down on APC NS because they're vanity sized, you don't size down on absolutely everything because that's "cool to do." The Slim Jim is not supposed to be a ball compressingly tight jean, if you try to make it that way you'll look stupid. I've tried both 28 and 29 slim jims, and while I could fit into the 28's just fine, the 29's looked way better so I got those instead. Slim Jim works best as a slim straight jean, not a super tight jean.

If you want something skinny, get a different jean. Why do you think they make Grim Tims?

not to deflate your rant but nudies generally fit an inch bigger than tagged size and stretch

Aware. But if he wears 28 in 514's, going any lower than 28 in slim jims would be a huge mistake. Everything stretches.

I am no expert at these but I have been wearing 514's and may look to getting better jeans so I want to get this one clear as well. I am looking for a better quality jeans that fit similar to 514's.

So Levis 514's and Nudie Slim Jims are identical in sizing? Not just the waist but the thigh, rise, etc... as well?

no they are not identical in sizing. 514s are more generous in the thigh, some slim jims (depending on waist size) have a slight boot cut

i have a pair of nudie slim jims, and levis 527 & 539, but not 514. from my experience, levis generally fit the same, unless you buy the capital E's which stretch A LOT. my true waist size (w/ measuring tape) is 32 inches, and i buy my levis in a size 30 waist. my slim jim is a size 31 at the waist, to get the same fit.

my suggestion, subtract 1 from your true waist size, and thats the waist size you should buy for your slim jims. so, if your a 30 with measuring tape, buy a 29.

dont you wish all jeans were uniform in sizing? at least at the waist??

Slim Jims are tight, I've got a pair, and I don't recommend to size down from Levi's, if you have proper fit in them.
