Several Questions here: How many of you have an MBA? Where did you get it from? Was it a good investment and how has it advanced your career and life?
Secondly, I would like some insight. I am an IT in the Coast Guard and I am stationed on a ship (I'm the only IT and network administrator on a ship with 80 people). I'm 6 credits shy of my B.S. in business administration. I'll have a 3.7-3.8 from a small private business school called Nichols college. I am having to get my degree through the school's distance (online) program. I want to get a part time MBA from a decent school, not necesarily a Tier-1 (Baruch would be my choice). So, to make a long post shorter; will earining my degree online, even though I have a good reason and a good story to tell, severely hamper my chances at getting into a decent shool?
