how about the stock of jeans you've bought for other people waiting to be mailed out? that would be a hint to Go Burgle Your Place late at night. [IMG] actually apart from mother few others give a shit about my jeans. i've had a few friends ask me if i've washed them yet, though. they always sigh knowingly when i reply in the negative.

Advertising your jeans price for the sake of doing it is.. well, asinine.

They asked me how much they cost and I told them - this is because of course, they asked me how much a pair of loafers cost a couple weeks back and I told them.

If only they knew about my JLs and Barker Blacks. [IMG]

I have a strict policy of non-disclosure regarding the price of my jeans.

Hehe, I know, that was my comment on doing it.

And I didn't forget, I want a Redmoon keyhook/Sugarcane belt from you.. just broke as hell right now - how long will that option be available to me?

    Got that right!!!

Also, I used to justify $300 for a pair of jeans by saying it was gonna be the only pair of jeans I bought for a year and they would last a lifetime, but now that I have multiple pairs of over $200 jeans and bought a few of them a couple months apart that doesn't seem to be truthful. I decided to resort to pointing out other people's flaws hoping they will forget about mine.

I used to get a lot of questions and comments on my jeans when I wore distressed Diesels, AGs and the like, but since I've joined the dark side, nobody really says anything... I think most people assume I'm wearing Levis.

Since I'm working on my Rescues currently, I greatly enjoy telling my friends that 'the indigo in my crotch is breaking down'. They say it's quite the pickup line.

I think some people notice that the jeans are expensive just because they fit a bit better than formless Old Navy stuff. Ah well.

Nobody gives a crap about my jeans. I'm the only one who knows it and I like it that way. I don't like to show off. I like to wear for the quality and I like it to look like it is embarrassingly cheap when it is actually embarrassingly expensive. Clothes looking simple and humble, but so inexplicably nice! That's the image I want people to have.

yes! Agreed completely. I don't like to wear anything that's noticably branded. I even picked off the back pocket stitching of my Nudies for this reason. Aesthetic minimalism + attention to detail always looks better than its opposite anyway.
