Yesterday a middle-aged male cop complimented me on a pair of EG Westminsters that I'd bought a couple of weeks ago from another forum-member. I realized that, since I've adopted a large SF-approved wardrobe (casual and business), I've been getting steady compliments from other men. But very few from women. And, no, these guys aren't hitting on me. I'm wondering if other forumites have had the same experience. I'm a hetero. man, and I'll tell a woman if she's wearing a nice pair of shoes. I don't see that as an automatic come-on, but maybe I'm wrong. My personal stats. are the same as a lot of guys on this 'site: single, professional, late-20s, gym routine. Is there a point at which a $5K RLPL jacket (though bought for $500 on the B&S) just makes a guy seem unapproachable?
