Suit - grey birdseye. Tie - navy and brown. Square - white linen with brown edge (riding up)

    Tasty?

too much PS for me taste. but everything looks good.

that said, add in the navy suit and this is pretty good, even though i dislike bowties during the day.

    x-post from light ties thread...

n.b., as this will probably cause dissent: this is a SC, not a suit. it may look like suiting in the pic, but it's a cotton blend that works easily as an odd jacket once you see it IRL IMHO. it''s possible it could be a suit too, but it doesn't look out of place as an odd jacket, and was intended as such by its maker. medium grey trousers below.

The shirt is solid light blue, pocket square is gingham with a similar dark blue as the stripes in the tie. Since this thread is looking for good taste, does this work, or should I have gone with a standard white square?

^square is fine, but green of tie is too bright IMHO. idk if the colors are right, but on my monitor it's almost neon.

IRL it is a kelly green. I thought a slightly brighter green would help pull up the more monotone navy-on-navy. (and then I wear a navy-based PS, go figure). I'm curious, how is a 2-tone repp tie with non-peacock colors OTT? help me rhonda...
