1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

That is hard, but I can do it, though some of the patterns will be really small ...

It is just a new incarnation of the liesure suit. It kind of works for Europeans (kind of) but it really doesn't work here. We tend to break down into "suit" cultures and "casual" cultures and we don't really blend those well. Don't confuse the longevity of a trend with its actual importance. Dockers took about 10 years to take off (sometimes things take a while to percolate) but were snuffed out rather quickly.

Thanks, but not quite. The square, silk/cotton was gray, but had a white overcheck.

In the first Manton pic, it looks to me like the red in the tie is clashing with the red in the PS. Otherwise, nice.

I'm not keen on the white shirt with what appers to be an odd jacket, seems to stark for me, espscially with the dark tie. A pale blue or blue shirt of any kind is better with an odd jacket and would be better in this case.

nope, pic was from last night, just didnt get around to posting it til today.

btw, i like your fit today.

thanks for the critique levoosh (btw, im a big fran of your user name). while i have come to agree with that in general, i didnt think a blue shirt would work with a black tie, and black/white/gray check SC. is that wrong?

unbel saw it in person. maybe besides guessing who i slept with he can also provide a knowledgeable opinion on the combo. ;)

I thought it was right nice. Shirt collar is better than others I've seen in your pics. Given the high contrast in the jacket pattern, I think high contrast between shirt tie is effective (kind of similar to mine today).
