Still don't like the watch, but I have a question. I have a royal blue "summer" suit. I have no idea what tie to wear with it. Can a black knit work with such a light blue? I am not sure about how to pair it. I was also thinking of a white tie with red pindots that Will has on his site.

It wasn't intended as a loaded question. I was just wondering whether your focus is on finding something to match the color (not easy at all!) or on finding something that matches both the color and the seasonality, since one could infer that you were at least partially focused on it being a summer suit.

Oh, I totally thought you were being snide. Just interpreted it wrong, sorry about that. But yeah, nothing summery and pastel. I generally like fairly linear and nothing with too many colors or whimsical or anything.
