1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Not with a lot of things. But definitely with some.

I'm wearing navy pants today. It probably wasn't the best choice, but I hadn't worn navy pants in a while (well over a year).

I want all you fools to know that I revel in my power to make you all look like hell out of your misplaced desire to rebel against my authority.

Really? I suspect you shake your head in dismay, wondering, "Why won't they just listen to me?"

I'm partial to pairing a light grey jacket with medium grey trousers, instead of blue or navy pants.

My mistake -- light grey jackets go best with blonde:

I would think ^ that outfit would get nailed as matchy on SF? (the grey on grey, not the blonde)

That outfit alone, yeah. But the girl, champagne and garden would more than make up for it; even here.

RE blue pants: I don't remember if it was in this thread, but a lot of users objectively established that navy pants just don't work. And though Manton may have been the originator of the discussion, he didn't take part in that most recent one.

Grace Kelly doesn't seem to mind it:

Despite what anyone ([IMG]) says, there is very little true objectivity in determining what clothes look good. Yes, in certain contexts (CM for instance) you can definitely say what looks better is many, or most, cases. However the term "objective" is thrown around on SF far too lightly.

Wore navy pants today for the sake of wearing navy pants.

Blue gray, gray, and brown all would have worked better. Not saying that this is always the case. But I think it's the case here.

I was actually trying to be sarcastic saying that.

Personally, though, I think navy pants in CM are always in bad taste, no matter who posts a fit.

I agree, I don't think it quite works there. But I think it would be hard to pair up a light gray SC no matter what color trousers you are using.

I think bottom left, the blue-gray, looks more than passable (though well short of superb)

Worn with khaki pants, I like it quite a bit. Opinions?
