1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I realize I was not invited to the party, that being said.
I first decide the level of formality based on the days expected events then work through each element with a quick pass/fail determination being mindful of the established elements of the rig.[IMG]

I just mentally scroll through a number of qualifiers. Ths mostly stems from the 5 minutes or so I leave myself to get dressed in the AM.
It helps if these things are all pre qualified when purchasing, I avoid things that don't work with a great deal of what I have already.

    Dat collar.

But is the breast pocket really large / squareish or is it just a weird photo?

I think it would look better if the white stripe were a bit thinner.

Otherwise, I agree that you're better off with white / blue stripes of equal width.

35lbs? Where did you store it? If I lost that much I would look like a concentration camp survivor and I am bulkier than you.

Got new clothes, mostly. Shoulders stayed the same.

Canta, the pocket just looks squareish, iPhone closeup distortion I guess.

Comrade, I was actually thinner at the SF10.

I'm down ~30 from Peak Sugarbutch. It's amazing how much you can lose before you look malnourished.

While I agree, some of it depends upon how much you have to lose. Were I to drop another 20, I would look emaciated - and I have the pictures from college to prove it.

You guys make me jealous. I can't drop a single pound more, even though I walk 9 miles a day and eat reasonably.

And I need to lose no less than 30 pounds [IMG]

I'm down ten from about eight weeks ago simply by cutting myself back to one meal a day plus two cups of coffee (with milk) in the morning. While this may not work for everyone, it's definitely working for me, and this is with my weekly work out routine having recently been slashed. I think if I could manage to cut sugar from my diet completely I would drop more. However, I like sugar.

Yeah, guess I need to go from "eating reasonably" to "dieting". Was planning to get down to 165 by Oct. 14 then use my trip to Campania (which I will spend mostly hiking) to drop even more. But it's not going well. And that in good taste is not. [IMG]

truth. but, that also depends on how much you have let yourself go. i could stand to loose 25lbs and still like pretty much the same.

Trust me - tracking your calories and macros works. Guesstimating is a waste of time.

i do! but they are not available yet. :(

not sure you can see it in the pic, but the stripes on this shirt are brown, with a fine blue micro stripe in the brown, barely visible. its almost impossible to photograph it well, at least as a selfie while i am wearing it. the white tends to throw off the balance, and i adjusted as best i could. can you even tell the the stripes are brown?

I miss when this thread had more scathing critiques by Foo and others quite a few months ago. (I haven't been lurking in a while).

What happened to the general consensus that sport coats should be darker than trousers? Caustic, it seems all of your coats from the last few dozen pages that I viewed are all lighter than your trousers which makes the outfit look discordant to my eye. Also the color combinations are all over the place.

Dark trousers are fine. Just because something is hard to do doesn't make it wrong.

Some pictures to illustrate your critiques would be very useful.

Quote:Was there ever a general consensus? Who made this rule up anyway? It seems like one of those things someone wrote once that was a preference, and the community latched onto it as gospel.
