Suede oxfords / bluchers would work IMO. You get the texture but the formality is on the same plane.

At any rate, it's nitpicking and you look good despite Hampton's monosyllabic grunting.

Was probably wearing 'em too high. Or are you not talking about the epic camel toe?

I may have missed something but it appears you wear pants that are extremely full. Is it a weight thing? You seem trim everywhere else.
Have you ever been in NYC? Specifically the Church's store on Madison Ave?

Those are not that full, specially below the knees. Leg opening is just short of 8". It's the pose.

That said, I carry like 30 pounds of extra weight at the lower waist and hips only, and my legs are not skinny. I'm thin from the waist up. I look ridiculous in tapered pants, trust me.

I just finished reading this entire thread from the beginning (no small feat). Very enlightening indeed! Now I know light blue shirts are required in most all tasteful fits. :) I am disappointed though to see the original arbiters of good taste are not posting any longer and hope that is not permanent. It would be a shame for the thread to lose them.

Haha, I wore suede bluchers with this suit the next day. And thanks!

No, sorry, must have been my seperated-at-birth twin.

A light blue ocbd wih a soft roll would look much better, IMO. However, the colors may be off.

I get them mixed up (english is not my mother's tongue) , but yeah you're right. A camel toe would be disconcerting [IMG]

    Edmorel - is that you?

I agree with Victor - would be better with a blue shirt. But i like that collar. And the tie knot.

    Thanks, actually calf/suede combination wingtips
The color is a bit off in the pictures, the shirt is light blue, and tie appears orange but is more of a medium light brown. But I do agree with the ocbd.
