    More and more, I find myself shirking the Christmas tree effect and returning to shades of gray and blue, playing with shade, texture and pattern saturation...

    I agree but I think that outfit would benefit from one more color, probably in the tie. Overall still good though.

    The shirt is white poplin. The suit is a French Navy twill. The tie is a jacquard silk with white pindots on a navy ground (very saturated).

    I think he means the ensemble would look better with a pink shirt.

    Unfortunately, I cannot bring myself to wear pink. :)
