Hmm. I tuck the corners in first, deep into the pocket. Then I bend the apex of the square (approximately the center of it, if it were laid flat) around and stuff it in next. I adjust and push the whole square further in until only the top of the bend peeks out. I like very little to show--the pictures I posted were taken from an above angle, so the squares are more exposed in them. The folds wind up being curved and generally echo the top curvature of the poof. I hate vertical folds.

    Yes, yes they are. :bigstar:

The pattern is so small on the flannel that you cannot see it without getting closer than anybody has any business getting. The purplish one is, well, just inexcusably odd ...

Found this pic I meant to post in Ed's 4 pattern thread and had forgotten about. White balance is off. I suck at photography.

Moar pics from you please. Can we get a repost of that one in the navy linen DB and the button down?

This, minus the square, is excellent. I won't pronounce judgment on the square because I can't make out its color, but I don't like what I see.

Sure. Its hard to tell the colors on this though - the shirt is a purple striple, and the coat is an ink blue linen.

Square is a light green ground with tiny cream-ish dots. Doesn't really match the detail colors on the tie, which are tannish khaki with olive and red, but it doesn't clash with them either. Last time I wore this I combo I used a white linen square, which worked but also seemed a bit harsh.

Oh, okay, then I definitely hate the square. You know what would be awesome in this application?

Cream silk. You heard it here first.

Foof - phase these over time unless you want the thread to blow up....

I would love to see #1 without a striped shirt. Goddman I love that suit. Winged lapels and all...

#2 is good but I think the tie dominates

    #3 - in great taste

#4 unremarkable but not offensive (I don't like the tie)

#5 a step away from baller with a different square - how about just plain white linen?

Funny you say that, because that's what I would have worn instead of the white linen, but I couldn't find it; still can't. Shame too, because it's got beautiful hand rolled edges in a great silk from Sam Hober.
