i like Ts spreez, but i agree with gdl on this one. no hate, T.
Solid fit, R. That tie is cashmere, no? Care to share the brand? In the market for a solid navy cash.
This looks like an excellent representation of your personality. Like an extension of who you are. To me, that is what this place is all about.
ill agree to the bold. the rest, i am not sure.
A rare foray into this thread as today is one of those unusual days where I'm about as close to this thread's theme as I get. The styling & colour of this DB is may be a bit too leery/flashy to quite fit the thread (and maybe the square is a bit too flouncy too, I suppose) but I'm always interested to learn if my intuition on these matters is correct or not.
As always, do feel free to spoiler-code it out of the way, should it not be sufficiently in keeping with the internal criteria in operation here.
i think its great. tho i imagine some will say the PS and tie are too matchy.
also, what color is the shirt?
Thank you. It is an old Drakes cashmere tie. It is slightly too long and thick, recent models are definitely better
Slightly off-white to pale ecru; within that spectrum anyway.
I don't disagree with you guys...
PS and tie too matchy?? No not sure they are a match. Hold has fantastic style but I am not sure this is directly on point for the thread.
they seem to be almost the same color green, with the PS maybe slightly darker. but, i know zilch about PS rules, just what i have seen here.
Very nice IMHO...VERY humble! I like the way you've combined the different blue tones and the different textures as well....
Truly? Charles is my middle name as well!
On my screen -always can be screen issue- they are slightly off from each other and do not really match at all. To me, no match but very close is worse than "matchy." Best is "subtle" counterpoint. Rachmaninoff is a bad vibe for a pocket square.
FWIW, re: my square/tie combo: the square has a black background, with very dark purple squares on it. The purple squares do have a green surround and center spot, but the green is a fairly acidic shade. Whereas the tie is a pretty typical forest green. The colours are (for once!) moderately accurate on my screen (I only have cheapo Spyder3Express colour calibration though).
Not entirely sure what impact the above clarification has on the collective taste-o-meter, but those are the colours.
