    Great suit and ensemble, Ethan.

From the front darts, I'm guessing that the suit's not a Liverano.

Is it an Orazio Luciano or a Chan?

CEP, I think your PJ coats are a little short, and a little tight in general.

Their coats for me are a little tight too. Mine are certainly longer than their usual offerings, following my insistence, but they are tighter than I like.

    Agreed.

In fact, this one is shorter still; Patrick felt that going .75 cm shorter befitted a more casual coat.

As for the others, I think it's less the length than room in the skirt that is the issue. Makes the jackets flare and look shorter than they are. I think part of the reason is the extra pounds I've put on since I was first fitted. I'll go with less suppression for any new commissions (Pat concurs) but am afraid to alter these 3 as I'm loathe to adversely affect the overall shape. Will only do so if I know letting out the waist will not screw up anything else.

    What do you guys think?

I have always thought your coats have an extreme hourglass shape and a very high waist. Less waist suppresion and a bit more room in the skirt should help with that, but maybe it would require a bit more chest room or shoulder extension because the hips would look wider than the shoulders...

    Bingo.

That's what I mean by screwing up the overall shape. Which is why I won't be messing with these 4 current suits.

I'll leave the changes that for the next commission and take it from there.

Will try to tone down the midsection in the meantime...

That suit looks great. I like the edges on the lapels. What is the fabric?
