Why the sockless look in some of the pics?
Spent all my money on black knit ties; none left for socks.
I'm confused as to why a black tie knit might be more versatile than a dark navy knit tie. Can someone explain?
overall it's a tie, maybe, except you can't wear navy to a funeral and a black tie looks better with a blue suit at night.
hmmmm. I don't own a black knit tie, but I wear a black grenadine often - I have two one from Panta and one from Chipp. I am not sure why knit would be better than grenadine. I hate square ended ties and I have a hard enough time finding point ended knit ones that even if I wanted a black knit, I expect I would never find one with a point.
I can see that in those situations. Considering I still wear brown shoes at night though, navy knit is still for me.
I think Jamison had some at one point. I have a couple of point ended knit ties from Kilgour, solid and with woven dots.
He still does and theyre' very nice and at a fair price.
I expect that some may not like this Kent Wang PS. In other news, seeking a PS with a bottle green field. Any recommendations?
too matchy with the tie, luft.
Thanks. WIth two grenadines in black, I don't need a black knit, but I could use a nave, maybe, especially since I don't know what happened to my navy grenadine.
Luft - why not white?
thats why i had to get both.
huge +1. can not get on board with those.
hober has some great options too.
He does . . . for grenadines, of which I have taken advantage, but not for point-ended knits (or any knits, I think).
@ gdl - like you had mentioned earlier here, i stumbled across this neat that i liked. how'd i do?
