1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

They are pretty welll made, but definitely over-priced at retail.

Nice overall. I have that tie. :)

Did you get it off that excellent eBay seller who also had lots of similar Hardy Amies and Althrupp & Peel printed ties?

Manton, I wish the tie were just a bit darker, but that's probably a quibble.

    As do I.

Unless the square is your focal point; it seems to overpower everything else.

    Manton,

What is the theory behind your lapels - as you have said they are very wide. Personal preference?

I like Mantons lapels. I am curious how the width on those lapels play into body type. For example, I am about 6' 4" and 230 pounds, how would a wide lapel look on someone of my dimensions? Alternatively, how does body type play into lapel width?

Very different look today. I couldn't decide on the green tie or the brown - I thought I would throw it open to discussion. Shirt is a little rumpled underneath because I was hurrying and my photog was leaving. I have since smoothed things out.

I think the tie is a bit too close to the jacket in color and tone (though that just might be bad pic quality or my monitor). Also, I'm always hesitant to wear a tie lighter than my suit. And even more so when the tie is lighter than my shirt and suit. I think you pull it off, but I personally would prefer a tie in a richer, muted color (maybe a faded maroon, tinted green or washed out blue). Just my $0.02.

Those lapels are just what Solito cuts, I did not ask for anything special.

Correct. I actually specifically picked this with yesterday's white shirt conversation in mind ;)
