A similar suit worn with a couple of dark ties:
I like that last one a lot except for that tie pin thingy
im going to hold you to that.
gdl - crushing it indeed.
These are ok, particularly the second, but I like mine better . I tend not to like narrower striped suiting cloth as much. I wear mine a lot with a light blue solid or micro-stripe shirts and dotted navy ties, so I agree that darker blue ties work well (they do with just about anything, for that matter.)
I've given myself 10 lashes for that horrible mishap...
Actually, you should pat yourself on the back for genuine sprezz points. Your other sleeve was fully buttoned.
i like leaving a button undone.
Someone please page ColdEyePugilist to this thread. He has very good taste

i believe you are familiar with the PM function. are you not?
Would it be better the other way around?
No, I just find it amusing, even though I also enjoy participating.
fwiw, this, and the rules thread, have been for me, some of the the most informative, interesting and polite threads i have visited in a while. im enjoying and learning quite a bit.
I walked away from this suit more than once because of the close spacing of the stripes even though it is a model I like and I loved the frescoesque, almost see-through fabric. I finally purchased it when there were only two left, they were down to 30% of the original price, and one was in my size. I'd likely not buy another suit with stripes this closely spaced, but my eye has adjusted to this one, perhaps aided by relatively low contrast, muted nature of these stripes.
