White Linen Jacket?

I just got a great deal on a white linen sportcoat and was wondering you you wear yours? I was thinking of light jeans, pink polo, and not sure what type of shoes. Your help is appreciated.

I would personally avoid the pink polo or shirt (or any other bright or pastel color), which may end up looking very "Miami Vice"

For summer months, personally, I could see it with medium blue or dark jeans, and contrasting (either brightly colored or dark colored) button up casual shirt. Lots of latitude with shoes. What do you typically wear with jeans?
