I like Southern Style in this one.

Not really feeling the white jacket and jeans combination.

Like the cut of Southern's jacket better too. Peak lapels, 3 piece. nice.

The hat tipped it for me.

The hat and those shoes. The shoes are great. Southernstyle would have looked a lot better with a different shirt, though I admit some bias there- I can't stand contrast collar shirts.

Not really feeling the white jacket and jeans combination.

I wear that combo at least once a week once the weather gets warm. Well, cream, anyway.

This is a really good contrast: both looks work IMO, but they each work the white (cream in southernstyle's case, maybe) differently to suit their own individual styles. I dig them both, but overall prefer southernstyle's interpretation this time round. Very close, though, and a great fit comparison.

These pics make me look forward to wearing my own cream linen jacket again once the weather turns to warmth more consistently.

Each has points, I guess.

SS outfit fits throughout, and is completely coordinated in the classic way. On the other hand, it looks as if he never wore it out of the clothing store in which he took the picture.

TTO has a coat that both fits well and looks like it has actually been worn in his actual life. On the other hand, the way his jeans widen at the sides make him look like he's wearing denim jodphurs. A well tailored coat can improve on nature; well-cut pant can do the same.

I vote for unbel.

I'll echo both HF and Mack's thoughts. It's a very close battle, there are aspects of each I like better than the other. TTO's top half is the winner, but the fit of the jeans throw it off for me. SS looks great, but as Mack says, looks like its never been worn outside. In the end, I voted SS.
