Where is one to find such an exotic item in this day and age? Richard Press posted something about the good old days implying these are extinct? Is he wrong about that?

I would guess that they’re either extinct or critically endangered as ‘duck’ usually refers to a heavy cotton, and ‘flannell’ to a textured wool. If there has been a cross pollination of the two I’d imagine it’s not often seen in the wild.
