White Casual Trousers

Any thoughts on white trousers as a casual summer look. Girly? Old-mannish? Chef? I've been thinking about a pair of white ducks (or perhaps just a pair of Lands' End chinos in white).

I have white cords, white linen/cotton chinos and off white gabardines. I like white pants a whole lot.

definitely a fan of white trousers in the summertime. one of my favourite outfits is white trousers, navy linen sweater, ribbon belt, and some white or navy blue Chucks.

I have four pairs of white or off-white linen pants for the summer, so it's reasonable to assume I think they're great. An excellent summer look.

I don't have a problem with white pants other than finding a decent pair to buy. Quality white pants in past times were a difficult item for me to locate especially at a price I was willing to pay. After years of looking, I discovered at a discount retailer in my own home town with 2 pair made in Italy for next to nothing.

Such is life.

I've bought a number of pairs of white pants in the past few years. Great, classic summer item, IMO. I wear them with my blue and green blazers and with my tan wool-linen-silk jacket. I think they look especially good with spectators or white bucks. However, my opinion may be devaluate because I am, in fact, an old man!

The only problem with white pants is that they get stained very quickly (well, they are white afterall) which can lead to numerous drycleanings and few wears, especially if you, like me, take mass transit to get to work.
