I bought this cardigan yesterday, but now I realize I dont know what to wear under it. I always wear a white shirt under my black cardigans, but a white shirt under a white cardigan will just look weird I guess. So any advice on what I could wear? I dont own any black shirts so maybe a plain black tshirt? Or maybe I should return the sweater... need some advice. Pic:

I'm fond of white cardigans and have two. I think you should return that, for three reasons.

1. It's a pretty bad design (you seem to have an idea why).
2. You seem to be questioning the purchase, which is never a good sign.
3. White cardigans are actually rather hard to wear as a man, and they require quite a bit of imagination and experimentation to look good. I'm not sure whether or not you have the faculties to do that.

With a black t-shirt it would look fairly terrible, by the way.

+1 there are alot of things off but the top button placement really stands out for me as being way too high. but with a white cardigan id try it with a pale colored shirt, probably blue would be safest. i could be wrong on this though...

I have a white cardigan, and I wear a predominantly white shirt with subtle stripes. I would never wear a dark shirt underneath it.

Also, light or mid-gray underneath it might look okay. What's above the shirt will have much to do with that.
