Anyone have an opinion about these watches? Or if not, can you direct me to a good watch forum?

At the moment I'm leaning towards the Citizen Super Ace or the Seiko Marvel.

    1. Citizen Super Ace 1963 31,800 yen
    2. Citizen Super Deluxe 1962 39,800 yen
    3. Seiko Lord Marvel 1958~1960 44,100 yen
    4. Seiko Marvel 1956 39,800 yen
    5. Seiko Unique 1957 32,800 yen

They're all nice. I follow your leaning.

After you buy, perhaps you can disclose the site?

No 4 or 5. They have the cleanest look.

Also, that type of script font that the first three ones have is a pet hate of mine. It reminds me of LetraSet transfer letters, - anyone remember those?

for a few hundred bucks more, you could buy a King or Grand Seiko of the same vintage with one of the greatest mechanical movements Seiko ever made. And it would be much more collectible/easy to resell.

I'd love a Grand Seiko but this one in comparable condition is 10 x as expensive as the watches I'm looking at. The King Seiko is 4 x as expensive and I don't think it's as pretty.

dport86 or anyone else do you know anything about the quality of the Citizen movements? I know a little about the Seikos and have heard that the Citizens are quite good and underrated but couldn't be sure.
