which shoes to buy?

I'm planning on going to the metro tomorrow to buy some new sneakers. but im having a hard time on choosing what sneakers to buy... here are my picks: Converse Jack Purcell, Adidas Stan Smith II or some nike running shoes...
What do you think guys?!

Stan Smith classics (from the Originals line), are much much nicer than the run of the mill Foot Locker Stan Smith 2's or Japanese Stans. The Originals classics have a nice satiny finish, less visual branding, etc. Much classier effect than the 2's. I saw some recently on: www.pickyourshoes.com I want a pair of the black ones, I bought the white ones awhile back...

Most of the Varvatos stuff for converse looks pretty plain to me, except for the leather ones and the ones with lots of holes.
