I am looking to buy a scarf for winter, and I was wondering which of the three you thought was the most versatile. I am only going to buy one, so it has to go with everything.
I personally am leaning towards the plaids at the moment, the plain grey seems quite boring, but it might be a more sensible choice.
    Thanks for your help!

In addition to agreeing with everyone else on the grey, I'd like to add that you would be surprised how striking a solid color scarf can be when placed in contrast or in harmony with the other colors in your clothing.

I would have to agree and say the grey one.

The grey is definitely going to be the most versatile; but I do find it rather "meh" for my tastes and would have gone with either of the other two. They're still relatively neutral colours and, I think, wouldn't be too difficult to pull off with most ensembles.
